Use Cupping Therapy To Improve Digestion

Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy that treats various illnesses and disorders, including digestion issues. It involves placing oxygen-deprived glasses along specific meridian lines on the body to aid healing.

Instructions

1. Find a reputable practitioner, preferably through referrals. Tell him where your problem lies so your practitioner can determine which meridian lines need attention. In this case, cupping to aid digestion is performed around the navel or other areas along your stomach.

2. Pick a therapy. Consider the different methods used to achieve suction. For instance, some forms of cupping rely on fire while others simply use a suction device. Ask your practitioner whether she will use flash cupping or moving cups.

3. Apply essential oils. Once the procedure is finished, you may notice redness on your skin, indicating that circulation has risen to the surface. Immediately apply analgesics or essential oils to aid absorption into the tissues surrounding the treated area.

4. Make follow-up appointments according to your needs. Let your stomach determine how often you should go. You may find that one session per week is necessary, while others may only use it once a month. Ideally, your digestion will improve to a point that you need only schedule occasional maintenance sessions.
