Choose A Sunblock For Sensitive Skin

Look for specific ingredients if you have sensitive skin.

The sun's damaging ray's can be devastating to any skin type. However, selecting a sunscreen is a challenge if you find the lotion or spray irritates your skin. Look for products that are hypoallergenic, but also review common ingredients to search for a sunblock that's both effective and won't cause a rash or hives to appear. In addition, children's sunblock is made for the more sensitive skin of babies and children, so may be a good choice for you as well.

Instructions

1. Select products that are effective, but free of common irritants. Sun block lotions that contain zinc oxide and titanium dioxide block the harmful ultra-violet rays and are less irritating to your skin.

2. Look for sun block lotion that does not contain any Para Amino Benzoic Acid, or PABA. This ingredient is often the culprit if sunblock causes irritation and rashes on your skin.

3. Avoid products with fragrance as your reaction may be to a scent additive.
