When used medicinally, clove oil can have numerous health benefits. Cloves are native to India and were used in ancient times to treat everything from skin ailments to blood disorders. Today, clove's antiseptic and anti-fungal properties make it a popular in-home remedy for many maladies. It's even considered to be an aprodisiac. Clove oil is especially good for treating bronchitis, asthma and other respiratory problems because it cools, soothes and has an anti-inflammatory effect. There are a number of ways in which you can use clove oil in your home to boost your respiratory health.
