Treat Hypertension With Flaxseed Oil


1. Recent research shows that flaxseed oil, available in liquid and capsule form, can lower blood pressure and keep hypertension under control. Choose the form that works best for you.


2. Take three tablespoons of flaxseed oil if you choose the liquid form. If you prefer the capsule form, read the instructions on the bottle for dosage information.


3. Flaxseed oil can be used for cooking in place of vegetable oil, but it loses some nutritional value if exposed to heat and light, so your dosage may need to be adjusted if you cook with it.


4. Flaxseed oil can be mixed with food and beverages.
