Use Essential Oils For Concentration

Use Essential Oils for Concentration

Essential oils have been used for centuries in a number of natural remedies for their powerful healing qualities. Sometimes healing with essential oils is as simple as taking in the strong aroma, helping to reduce stress and tension, relieve mild depression, energize the body and improve concentration. If you need a little natural boost, a few tips can help.

Instructions

1. Use lavender to help calm the nerves, clear the mind and improve thinking. Lavender is one of the few essential oils that can be safely applied directly to the skin, so keep a bottle with you and massage a few drops into your wrists whenever you need a boost in concentration.

2. Make a skin soothing and mentally stimulating body oil which can be applied in the morning for improved concentration all day long. In 1/4 cup of almond oil, add 8 drops of bergamot essential oil, 5 drops of sandalwood essential oil and 3 drops of jasmine essential oil. Store your energizing oil in a cool, dark location.

3. Add a wonderful scent to your home while improving concentration. In a glass essential oil diffuser, add 5 drops of rosemary essential oil and 1 Tbsp of water. Light the candle underneath the glass bowl, adding more oil and water as the solution evaporates. Breathe deep and enjoy the energizing aroma.

4. Take time out for an energizing bath. Add 15 to 20 drops of eucalyptus essential oil to a warm bath and soak for at least 15 minutes. Eucalyptus is known to help energize the mind and body, so a morning soak is sure to keep you mentally focused all day long.
