Treat Chronic Fatigue With Acupuncture
Acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of special needles into certain spots on the body in order to correct the flow of energy and cure maladies. You can treat chronic fatigue with acupuncture, although there is not an established procedure for this remedy.

Treat Chronic Fatigue With Acupuncture
1. Contact your health insurance provider to find out whether acupuncture is covered by your plan, since this treatment can be expensive. A referral from your primary care provider to an acupuncturist may increase your chances of financial support from your insurance.
2. Find a licensed acupuncturist in your area. The American Academy of Medical Acupuncture maintains a list of practitioners (see Resources below).
3. Meet with the acupuncture professional to discuss your options for treatment. There is no one common procedure for treating chronic fatigue with acupuncture, although there are several different theories. The acupuncturist may want to address each of your symptoms (insomnia, muscle and joint pain or lack of energy) individually.
4. Talk about the possibility of correcting the harmony between your liver and spleen. Some research suggests that roughly 3/4 of patients with chronic fatigue syndrome were cured after having the qi energy flow treated for these two organs.
5. Use acupuncture to correct your sleep-deprivation problems. There are many different acupuncture approaches to cure insomnia, and some patients report that once their sleep patterns become normal they are able to overcome the other aspects of chronic fatigue syndrome.
6. Commit to several month of acupuncture in order to correct all of your chronic fatigue symptoms. Sessions should last for about 45 minutes, and you should have treatment several times each week. You should feel some relief after the first session and after one week at most.
