Strengthen Your Chi

Chi is the vital life force that flows through the body.

Chi is the vital life force -- an energy that flows through the body. Chi is present in everyone and everything, but in different amounts and strengths. When a person is rundown, weak, ill, depressed, no energy or generally drained, their chi is weak. When there is a good sense of well-being, anxious to get going and a smooth flow in life, one has strong chi. When the chi is weak, there are ways to strengthen the chi.

Instructions

1. Strengthening a weakened chi is vital because a blockage of the flow of chi energy is the start of all disease. Acupuncture is an effective way to strengthen chi. Placing the needles in the proper pressure points opens the paths and allows the energy to flow through the body, strengthening the chi.

2. Meditation is an effective way in increasing chi. In a meditative state, the mind connects with the universe, and chi flows through all things throughout the universe. In the meditative state, the practitioner pulls more chi into the body increasing the strength of the flow of chi, and making the vital life force stronger.

3. Performing certain martial arts and yoga exercises can improve the flow of chi by harmonizing the mind and body. Excessive exercise on the other hand will cause the body to wear down, and hinder the flow of chi. The ability to focus and guide chi can lead to enormous power.
