Release Toxins In The Body

Toxins can be found in our external environments as well as internally. So many diseases and infections are caused because of internal pollutants inside of our bodies. In order to maintain our health, we must cleanse the body of these harmful toxins. Fortunately, these cleanses can be done easily at home and mostly involve lifestyle modifications.

Instructions

1. Consume plenty of water everyday. Water is nature's best internal cleanser and many people do not get near enough of it. Dehydration is the source of infections, kidney stones, headaches, fatigue and a depressed immune system. It will help flush toxins faster than any other liquid. Water is critical to the proper functioning of organs such as the liver, kidneys, heart and lungs. These vital organs regulate digestion and circulation. It is recommended you drink a minimum of eight glasses every day. Those who are ill or susceptible to illness, should consume at least ten glasses daily.

2. Exercise and sweat to release toxins out of the system. Exercise, especially aerobic exercise helps to burn calories which eliminates stored fat in the adipose tissue. Losing weight will prevent heart disease, heart attacks and diabetes. Aerobic exercise also improves respiratory function.

Sweating can occur as a result of exercise or if you prefer to intensify the release of toxins, go to a steam room or sauna. Many who have viruses, fevers, colds or flu symptoms can expedite the healing process by sweating them out of their system. Most major gym chains and YMCAs have one or both of these. If you do not have a membership, it may behoove you to get one. Access to a steam room or sauna is great anytime you want to detox.

3. Eat nutrient dense foods to rid your body of toxins. Foods that are high in nutrients and low in caloric value include many fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Many plant products are full of antioxidants which help fight off free radicals that cause illnesses like cancer and damage major organs. Blueberries, strawberries, spinach, and broccoli are a few examples of foods that have a significant amount of antioxidants.

One of the most efficient ways to eliminate toxins is to eat a fiber rich diet. You want to have regular bowel movements to get rid of waste and fiber is the best at providing that. Fortified cereals, barley, wheat germ, apples and oatmeal provide plenty of fiber.
