You can determine time where you function at your peak by charting your biorhythms.
Biorhythms are cyclical patterns of health, mood, and intelligence level that reach peaks and lows over the course of about a month. These cycles were discovered simultaneously in the late 19th century by Dr. Hermann Swoboda of Vienna and Dr. Wilhelm Fleiss of Berlin. They observed that people have a reoccurring physical cycle that lasts 23 days, and a reoccurring emotional cycle that lasts 28 days. Later, Alfred Teltscher of Australia discovered a 33-day intellectual cycle. You can determine your own peak intellectual, physical fitness, and emotional biorhythms using a biorhythm calculator and your date of birth.
Instructions
1. Go to an online biorhythm calculating website. A link for one of these has been provided for you in the Resources section of this story.
2. Use the scroll bars to enter the date, year, and hour of your birth along with the month for which you would like to calculate your biorhythms.
3. Look at the green line to determine what dates of the month will be peak times and low periods for your health and physical fitness.
4. Look at the red line to determine what dates of the month your intellectual high and low points will be.
5. Look at the blue line to find when your mood will be at its highest and lowest.
6. Look at the overall graph for the month to see how your physical, intellectual, and emotional peaks and troughs relate to each other over the course of time.
