Stop Being A Snitch

When you snitch on people frequently you risk losing friends and put a strain on your relationships. If you snitch unnecessarily you are basically being a tattletale and people will begin to get mad at you. Snitching is perfectly acceptable if someone did something to hurt another person or someone is doing something dangerous. Follow these steps to learn stop snitching about things that aren't important.

Instructions

1. Ask yourself if somebody or something is going to end up hurt if you don't snitch. Snitching is OK if someone has hurt or is planning to hurt another person.

2. Decide if the problem is worth snitching about. If your friends got into a physical fight but nobody was seriously injured and the problem has already been resolved then snitching isn't necessary.

3. Think about the other person's feelings before you snitch. If you know someone did something wrong but it was an accident she may be devastated to know that you witnessed it and snitched on her.

4. Ensure that you aren't snitching to get someone you don't like in trouble or to gain attention. Nobody likes a tattletale, if the problem is serious then go ahead and snitch but if the person isn't hurting anyone by his actions then leave him alone.

5. Snitch anonymously if the person you are snitching on can be dangerous. Remember nobody likes a snitch and if you get someone in trouble you risk putting yourself in danger.
