Use Wu Long Tea

Wu Long is a traditional Chinese tea

Wu Long tea is a Chinese beverage that has a number of positive side effects. Inbibers use it most commonly to aid weight loss. The tea may stimulate better skin condition, healthy teeth and a stronger immune system. You can prepare Wu Long tea like any other tea, but you can do a few things to optimize its flavor and health benefits.

Instructions

1. Clean all your brewing equipment thoroughly. This includes kettles, tea pots, sieves and cups. Inspect to confirm that someone has cleaned off all residue from the last brew. Mineral deposits can alter the taste of the tea.

2. Use cold, good-tasting water. Tea is almost completely made of water. Confirm that the water you are using is pure. If the water has a chemical or chlorine taste, it will affect the taste of the tea. Use a purifier or even use bottled water to achieve the best-tasting tea.

3. To make Wu Long tea, you need an ideal water temperature at 185-200F. Steep the tea in it for 3 -- 5 minutes. Use six ounces of water per cup of tea.

4. Brew the tea leaves in loose form rather than in a tea bag or some sort of infusor. The Wu Long tea will release its flavor far better this way. For each cup of tea you make, use one teaspoon of Wu Long tea leaves. If, for instance, you are making a pot with 36 ounces of water, use six teaspoons of Wu Long tea.
