Use Rubbed Sage Leaves To Color Grey Hair

You can color your gray hair naturally.


Many dyes are available to stop your hair from graying and bring your hair back to its original color. Most of these use chemicals to dye your hair and many can be expensive. However, you can use a natural method to stop your hair from graying and bring your hair back to its natural color. This sage and rosemary does not dye your hair, but softens it and brings back your natural color. This method takes longer to achieve the desired results but it is good for your hair, it's inexpensive, and it smells good, too. People see results within a a couple weeks to a month and according to Natural Hair Dye Information, it has not shown any ill effects.


Instructions


Making the hair dye.








1. Boil water in medium sauce pan. Add sage and rosemary and remove from heat. Let the mixture stand for 30 minutes.


2. Place a coffee filter into a container and pour the mixture into the filter. Hold the filter over the strained mixture and let the remaining liquid drip into the bowl. Gently squeeze the filter to extract any additional fluid.


3. Allow the mixture in the container to cool for an hour.


Applying the dye.


4. Wash your hair and rinse in lukewarm water and wrap your hair in a towel. Place a bowl into a sink to catch the overflow when you apply the dye mixture to your hair.


5. Place your head over the bowl and apply a small portion of the dye to your hair. Massage the dye in thoroughly. Pour more of the solution onto your hair and massage. Repeat this ten times.


6. Wrap your hair in a towel and keep any leftover solution in a covered container refrigerated for later use. Apply the dye three to five times a week and continue to do so weekly until you achieve the desire results.
