Instructions

Cedar Chip Spray

1. Place a large handful of cedar chips into a plastic bucket with a lid in a well-ventilated area, preferably outside.

2. Bring a 1/2 gallon of water to a boil in a cooking pot. Pour the boiling water over the cedar chips in the bucket, and cover with a lid. Water should adequately cover the cedar chips. Steep chips until water is pale brown and cold; if water is not brown, add more chips.

3. Pour cedar infused liquid into an unused, plastic spray bottle. Spray around outside perimeter of windows and doors. Store cedar spray for up to one week in a cool, dry place.

Cedar Essential Oil Spray

4. Pour the distilled water, vodka and cedar essential oil into an unused or recycled plastic spray bottle and seal.

5. Shake the mixture well. Store in a cool, dry place for one week before spraying.

6. Spray around indoor perimeters of windows and doors, around closets, in the attic or any place a pest may be hiding, living or lurking. Foundation cracks and loose floorboards can also be entry points for pests, so spray there as well.
