Reduce Pain In Your Lower Back

Office chair with shock proof cushion

Lower back pain affects millions of people. The stresses of work and play often leave people with lower back pain with almost no help for it. There are a few things you can do to ease some of the pain.

Instructions

1. Lower back pain is the worst! Once you have it, whether it is bulging discs, arthritis or bone spurs, it takes a lot of visiting your doctor to find relief. Many cases, no relief is to be found. I've tried all the pain meds and shots... no luck. My wife has discovered something that at least helps with my lower back when I'm in my office or on the road. The cushion that is pictured above is especially made for people with lower back pain. You can put it in your office chair, your chair at home, or put it in your vehicle. This is wonderful if you do a lot of driving.

2. The cushion is designed with a hole at the back of it, where your backbone is right above it. This relieves any pressure that you wouldn't normally have in a chair.

It is very comfortable and it allows you to remain in that position for a long time without jarring your lower back. Those of you with back pain know exactly what I'm talking about. These cushions can be found online or in specialty stores like Brooke's.

3. Another way to help ease your lower back pain is your footwear. The biggest "no,no" is wearing flip flops. These thin layered footwear do the worst damage to your back and feet! It is very much worth buying the expensive shoes with the gel soles inside. What I have done is added another inserted gel pad for extra bounce. This allows the gel to take all the pressure that would normally run up your leg and to your back.
