Cook Eggs In A Stainless Steel Skillet Without Sticking

Eggs are an essential part to a classic American breakfast. They can also be used as a side dish or a main course for dinner. This versatile ingredient has many health benefits ranging from eye health improvement to lowering the chance of developing breast cancer. Preparing eggs is generally easy, but it can make a mess without proper precautions. Eggs are notorious for sticking to cooking surfaces, resulting in several minutes of hard scrubbing to remove it. Next time you plan on cooking eggs on a skillet, remember to follow these steps.

Instructions

1. Put a skillet on the stove and set the heat to medium-low.

2. Apply just enough butter, margarine or non-stick cooking spray to lightly cover the inside of the skillet. This thin layer is enough to keep the eggs from sticking.

3. Prepare the eggs in the way you want them cooked. If you want them scrambled, it is best to scramble them first in a separate container; then slowly pour mixtue into the skillet. Sunny-side up or over-easy can be dropped directly on the hot skillet.

4. Keep the eggs on the skillet until they are thoroughly cooked. Gently move the eggs around while they cook to further prevent them from burning and sticking to the skillet. If making scrambled eggs, flip them over regularly with a spatula.

5. Remove the eggs from the skillet immediately after they are cooked. Season with salt and pepper to your desired taste.
