Regrow Hair With Minoxidil

Minoxidil was originally used as a blood pressure medication. It just so happened that a side effect of its use was the regrowth of hair and the slowing of hair loss. It has since been produced solely for the intent of hair restoration and it is used in two topical forms.

Instructions

Sit Back and Watch it Grow

1. Do some research. Before you use any Minoxidil product, make sure you are not allergic to any ingredients in it. Also inform your doctor of any allergies you might have that may cause a bad reaction. And lastly, monitor any side effects that may occur during treatment with Minoxidil and report them to your doctor as well.

2. Apply topical solution. To apply the topical solution, make sure your head is dry. Apply the solution in the desired area. Allow it to completely dry, especially before going to bed as it can stain pillowcases and linens. It usually takes about two to four hours. Also make sure to wash your hands immediately after applying.

3. Rub it in. To apply the foam version of Minoxidil, turn the can upside down and press the trigger to put foam into hand. Gently massage the foam into the affected areas of the scalp with the fingertips. Allow to dry and wash hands after applying.

4. Stay consistent. Apply Minoxidil consistently for best results. This is generally twice a day. Also, it can take anywhere from three to nine months to see results. Just be patient, consistent and follow the instructions or your doctor's recommendations.
