Homeopathy For Thuja

Homeopathy for Thuja

Homeopaths may prescribe Thuja occidentalis, the Northern white cedar, as a remedy

for an emotionally sensitive patient who likes to drink and smoke, has unhealthy pale skin that tends to warty growths and perspiration that smells offensive.

Mental Symptoms

The patient has great sensitivity but fixed ideas. Symptoms can include mental depression, sadness and stabbing left-sided headaches. The patient typically describes feeling that soul and body are separated.

Glandular Problems

Glandular problems include stitching and tearing pains. Women may find their left ovary especially affected at menses. The pain worsens, rather than eases, with the flow. Ovarian pain may lead to mental symptoms like irritability over time. Men may suffer an intense squeezing pain, particularly in the left testicle.

Urinary and Bowel Symptoms

The patient may complain of a burning sensation while urinating, retention of urine, a sharp pain in the kidneys, with pus and bloody urine in more severe cases. Bowel symptoms may include a watery, gushing diarrhea in the morning.

Congestion

The patient suffers from congestion of the ears, nose and chest, with an intense hacking cough that produces an abundance of greenish mucus in the morning.

History

Patient history may include pneumonia, snakebite, gonorrhea, unhealthy habits and a worsening of symptoms from stimulation and excitement.
