You should clean nebulizers often by sanitizing their surfaces. You also need to regularly wipe down and disinfect the machine that houses the air compressor to avoid inhalation of unwanted dirt and dust. It's important to sanitize all parts of the nebulizer to aid in the unnecessary spreading of germs. Cleaning your nebulizer can also help it to last longer.
Instructions
1. Wet your cloth and wring out excess water.
2. Wipe around the outside of the machine with the damp cloth and rid the entire surface of dirt and grime.
3. Dampen the cotton ball with the rubbing alcohol and sanitize around the nebulizer's housing.
4. Clean around the outside of the entire machine, paying close attention to nooks and crannies where dirt and germs hide. Carefully maneuver the cotton ball in between machine's air vents. The air vents are where you can see inside of the machine.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed in order to sanitize the entire machine. It's best to sanitize your machine every three weeks.
