Calm A Sore Throat With Baking Soda

Calm a sore throat.


Calm a sore throat with baking soda for a natural remedy to an annoying ailment. A sore throat can be caused by the effects of an infection and the drainage that accompanies a cold or sinus problems.


Use a natural remedy instead of cough drops, which are sugary and may irritate the stomach. When a person has a sore throat, often they have an imbalance and their body is more acidic. Use the following remedy to put the body back in balance.








Instructions


1. Get warm water in a cup. Either run warm water into a cup from the faucet or heat water in the microwave or in a pan on the stove so it is warm but not hot.


It is not safe to drink hot water.


2. Add a teaspoon of baking soda to half a cup or a full cup of water. Stir to dissolve the baking soda.


3. Drink the water. This introduces alkaline to the system to counteract the acid to put the body back in balance.








4. Repeat this process two or three times a day until the sore throat is gone. Often the irritation is gone immediately and the sore throat is relieved.
