Lipotrim Side Effects

Lipotrim is a popular drug used for weight loss. The pill helps in the breakdown of fats in the body and thus helps in weight loss, but does not cause a sudden drop in weight. It should be used in conjunction with diet and exercise. The side effects are created by the individual drugs that comprise Lipotrim.

Choline

Choline is good for memory, libido and weight loss, but in large doses can cause increased sweating and body temperature. It can also cause nausea and loss of appetite.

Methionine

Methionine is an amino acid that has been linked to increased cholesterol and hardening of the arteries in mice. In large doses, Methionine is converted into homocysteine, which is linked to heart disease and stroke.

Inositol

Inositol is popular in several weight loss supplements, including Lipotrim. It has been shown to affect cell membranes and may be helpful in the treatment of several psychiatric disorders. Side effects include headaches, nausea, fatigue and dizziness.

L-carnitine

L-carnitine helps the body turn fat into energy and has been linked to helping everything from heart disease to low sperm counts. Side effects include increased appetite, diarrhea, body odor and rash.

Chromium

Chromium helps the body process fats and is another popular drug used in weight loss supplements. While safe in small doses, about 1.6 milligrams or less per day, higher dosages may cause nosebleeds, bruising, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, headaches and dizziness.
