Wristech Instructions

Wristech manufactures a line of small blood pressure monitors designed for convenience and portability. Because these monitors attach to your wrist with a Velcro strap, you can take them anywhere and check your blood pressure at any time. You can learn to operate one of these blood pressure monitors quickly, even if you don't know much about medical equipment or electronics.

Instructions

1. Slide the battery door off of the rear of the unit and insert AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Replace the battery door.

2. Slide your hand through the wrist straps, or undo the straps and wrap them around your wrist. Be sure the LCD display portion of the unit is over the inside of your wrist.

3. Press the "Start" or "Begin" button on the unit's front control pad and you will feel the monitor straps tighten around your wrist. The straps will automatically adjust to the appropriate tightness.

4. Wait until the straps release the air pressure, and a moment later the blood pressure will be displayed on screen. The systolic reading will be on top and the diastolic reading will be on the bottom.
