Cure Bad Breath From Stomach

Cure Bad Breath from Stomach

cure bad breath from stomach disorders is useful to know if you suspect you may be suffering from the kind of stomach problem which can cause your breath to be less than fresh. Whilst it may be a relatively short term problem, such instances of bad breath can damage your confidence levels for as long as they last.

Instructions

1. In almost all cases of bad breath that is caused by stomach problems, the only way to cure the bad breath is to go to the cause, the stomach, and diagnose what is wrong. Sucking mints, using breath freshening sprays or cleaning the teeth won't stop the problem. As soon as the mint or toothpaste has worn off, the bad breath is back. Fortunately, most bad breath that is caused by mild stomach disorders can be cured through diet.

2. Stomach disorders such as acid reflux, bowel disorders or even just indigestion can all result in bad breath. If you suffer from acid reflux, which is when the digestive acids from the stomach leak back into the digestive tract and travel up the esophagus, an adjustment in diet may help cure bad breath. Try to avoid spicy foods, dairy products and red meats, and drink plenty of water to flush out your system. Reducing portion size may also help as the stomach produces more acid the more food it needs to digest.

3. Constipation and other bowel disorders may result in bad breath as these conditions can create a build up of gases in the stomach which can then exit the body through the mouth. Eating a diet rich in fiber and low in sugars will help to combat this problem.

4. Dehydration can lead to stomach problems and from there to bad breath, so drinking the recommended 6 - 8 glasses of water each day may help cure both bad breath and stomach disorders. Try to sip the water throughout the day rather than drink large quantities one go.
