Kill A Flu Virus

Influenza, commonly known as the flu, is a viral infection and typically include symptoms such as fever, congestion, coughing and vomiting. It can be spread by sneezing or coughing in the air and only within short distances. The Spanish Flu, in 1918 to 1919, infected 40 to 50 million people. Keeping the flu at bay can be done thru good health and proper care.

Instructions

1. Immunize yourself. Getting a flu shot is an effective and safe way to help your body prepare itself to fight the flu virus. These immunizations could save you a future trip to the doctor and the future inconvenience of having the virus.

2. Wash your hands several times a day with warm soap and water will help kill the flu virus. Avoiding touching your face before washing your hands is a good measure to take as well. Before you cook or handle foods, wash your hands.

3. Use homeopathic remedies. They are natural ways of killing flu viruses. Homeopathic remedies consist of taking drugs made from natural herbs from the earth. Taking Ginseng as a homeopathic remedy can boost your energy level while you are sick. Taking zinc can stimulate your immune system while you have the flu, so your body is ready to fight the illness head on. In addition, taking cayenne pepper can help reduce pain and fever symptoms associated with the flu.

4. Drink hot beverages. Herbal tea is by far the best thing to drink, but hot liquids will help kill flu viruses within your body. Liquids help to flush toxins out of your body. If possible, try to avoid sugars in your liquids. Green tea is a known antioxidant. Honey and lemon tea soothes throats and stops sinus problems. Echinacea herbal tea boosts the immune system. If you want to combat the flu, you could use all three of these remedies.

5. Rest to help your immune system rejuvenate. Resting allows you to rebuild cellular strength. Activity and stress can make it harder for your body to build up antibodies against the illness it's trying to get rid of.

6. Breathe fresh air. Fresh air is very good for physical and mental health. Being outside on the porch on a warm summer day helps clear the throat passages and helps to soothe the body and mind.
