Clean Linoleum Tile Floors

TrafficMaster Morocco Slate Tile

Linoleum tile floors have come a long way in recent years. There are many beautiful colors and patterns available, from wood to natural stones and tiles. They are easy to install, and they are very easy to clean. You do not need to use any special cleaners---your everyday cleaner will do just fine. These flooring products last a long time.

Instructions

1. Sweep or vacuum the flooring surface to remove dirt and debris. If vacuuming, use a hard surface vacuum attachment to avoid scratching the flooring surface.

2. Spot treat scuffs, shoe marks, spills, sticky spots and similar areas before mopping.

3. Apply a high-quality, all-purpose liquid cleaner to the floor and and clean it by mopping with a handled mop, or by cleaning it by hand with rags. Allow the flooring surface to dry.

4. Apply a low-gloss seam sealer to the tiles to help prevent any possible water damage to the subfloor.

Tips Warnings

Do not use abrasive cleaners, oil soaps, dishwashing detergents or dusting products on linoleum tile floors as they will dull or ruin the finish. Do not wax linoleum tile floors.
