Make Indian Turmeric Hair Paste

Turmeric is a bright yellow stem in the ginger family. It is used in Indian cuisine, Thai cuisine, and even mustard. Another common area of use for turmeric is beauty. Many use it for hair removal, claiming that it works as a natural hair inhibitor. Either raw or as a powder, turmeric is made into a paste, applied as a mask, and used as a natural solution to temporally diminish excess hair.


Instructions


1. Select either raw turmeric or powdered turmeric.


2. Mix selected turmeric in your bowl with either water or milk until it forms a smooth paste. Add more liquid as needed.


3. Optional - Pour in salt or flour while mixing.


Application


4. Select area, like back, arms, or face, and apply turmeric paste so that is 1/8 inch thick.


5. When dry, remove with warm water by gently rubbing the mixture as if you are exfoliating.


6. Repeat paste application twice weekly or as needed until you see a difference.


Tips Warnings


Turmeric can temporarily stain your skin yellow.
